Agency Accreditation

There is no getting away from it, agencies should be regulated, registered and vetted. Child agencies even more so! Yet despite the industry crying out for changes to happen it seems that the government only appear to concern themselves in money making law changes instead of those that can help save peoples money and indeed lives in some cases,

Reputable Model Agencies (RMA), formerly RMAUK, was formed in 2007 to act as a source of information for parents to avoid them being 'scammed', equipping them with important knowledge when sourcing a highly reputable agency and to list the agencies which are known to be non-reputable.

RMA also provides reputable agencies with an accreditation system given the lack of regulatory body for the industry,

We are totally independent, non-biased and our organisation serves both the models and agencies alike.

In order for an agency to be considered for accreditation they must:

Have been trading for more than 3 years

Provide evidence of work for their models for a 3 year period prior to application

Trade from an office, have a BT registered landline telephone

Disclose what their joining fee is and explain what it is for

Disclose what measures they have in place to ensure the credibility of clients when approaching their agency

Agree to follow our 'Code of Practice'*

Agree to be subject to an independent complaints procedure if necessary.

*copy of our Code of Practice supplied upon application.
